Feeling Humble, Grateful, in Awe of it All

Image

Just landed in Thailand,

but still high on this incredible life we’re living.

Working to stay grounded.

Focusing on the purpose of it all.

Remembering much has been given,

and therefore greater works will be required.

Let my voice and spirit utter nothing but praise.

Let my heart be full of the joy that only comes

from The Spirit.

In my humble silence and reflection,

let my work SPEAK for me.

All that I am, all that I’ve done,

all that I have to give,

let it be for Your glory

and the progression of your children.

Asė.

  1. First of all I would like to say wonderful blog!

I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you do not mind.
I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your thoughts prior to writing.
I have had a difficult time clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out.
I do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the
first 10 to 15 minutes are generally lost simply just trying to figure out how
to begin. Any suggestions or tips? Thanks!

    1. The hardest thing about writing for me is starting as well. I have so many posts in my head swirling around, but I rarely fond the time, energy, & focus to write them. I find it’s easier when I get out of my own way; meaning, just get something on the screen. It doesn’t have to be perfect or well-written or even organized in the beginning. I just need to type the idea first and it will evolve from there. I can start it on my phone and finish it on my laptop. I send text messages to myself with writing thoughts. Just make the idea concrete in some way and let the magic unfold. I hope this helps. Thank you for reading. You’ve inspired me to keep going.
